Resumen

The university with the aim of maintaining a bidirectional communication takes advantage of the technological era, as a tool to strengthen not only its teaching-learning process, but also strategic communication at all levels: teacher-student, student-student, and university-student. The 2.0 university walks at the same time as the digital revolution. There are only some of the institutions that are translated in the exemplary adaptation to the diverse possibilities that offers Internet. There are others who are still working on this path; however, the tendency will lead them to improve their digital communicative processes. At present, the most used social networks in the communication of the universities that allow both an informative and communicational approach are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
