Resumen

Information Technologies have become an omnipresent and crucial element, to provide sustainability and facilitate the growth of the business of any organization. However, organizations and universities are threatened by an avalanche of major technological changes related to new technologies. In universities, IT management has focused on achieving an efficient management of technological resources as an operational and support element. Currently, the establishment of an IT Government means that universities carry out a strategic and integral IT planning in a manner aligned with the organization’s objectives. The proposal of an IT Government for the PUCE-SI, will provide a clear vision of the level of capacity in each IT Governance and Management process, allowing to define action plans to close the gaps and ensure the achievement of objectives.
