Factors that influence school delay and its consequences on academic performance

Resumen

The research shows the different factors that influence the school delay, deriving from the adverse contributions that affect the family, the school environment and the nature of the child, considering that since the first years of the school stage the learning problems and they can have a negative impact on all educational levels, but are detected and intervened on time, by parents, teachers, and authorities. This inquiry was inspired by the pedagogical practice of teachers, who currently face different challenges and challenges in the classroom, seeking innovative strategies and methods to address the diversity and individual differences of students. A bibliographic review of different scientific articles was carried out, to support this study the qualitative methodology was used, supporting the significant contribution of the proposed topic; In addition, the descriptive method, synthesis analysis, deductive logic were applied in the process of gathering relevant data, obtaining arguments from each developed sub-theme, which determined the results according to the proposed objective, identifying the factors that influence the school delay, its consequences in the low academic performance of students who begin the schooling process.
