Resumen
Generalist televisions face a digital migration that allows them to compete efficiently with new operators. This article carries out a content analysis of various websites with the objective of determining the ability of Latin American generalist television networks to monetize their content and services. In particular, the article analyzes the platforms of twenty-four private and public television networks of the member countries of both the Andean Community and Southern Cone. This work facilitates a first diagnostic status in relation to the exploitation of income from Web TV. The results show that advertising is the main source of income on web platforms.
