This is a nascent research field that allows deriving actions that promote a sense of belonging of people to their natural and built environment with a high aesthetic and ecological value. The quality of present and future life in human settlements, largely depend on the sustainability of the city, whose social dimension should include, among its design parameters, the preservation of the urban landscape, in response to individual and collective needs.
