Resumen
Borges aims to operate a total identification between the poetic paradigm and Dante's artistic achievements. To this obeys the systematic deconstruction of the creations of Dante, assimilated to the ideal poetry by virtue of its connection with life. By working on the set of Borges essays dedicated to the analysis of the general and specifically of Dante's poetry guidelines, it will be shown in this work how the two represented sets that configure identical domains, revealing coincident epistemological bases. Ultimately, we find that Borges' scrutiny of Dante's work stems from an actual attempt to formulate an epistemology of artistic creation.
