Resumen

Today, the growing number of applications and web users make software engineering a promising field, especially the development of accessible web applications. According to the World Health Organization, 15% of the world’s population carries some form of disability. There are many websites for patient care, but not all of them are accessible. Therefore, it is necessary to develop accessible websites for health services that comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 that provide guidelines for the development of more accessible and inclusive applications. Testing accessibility in web applications is a major challenge for accessibility experts, so this research proposes an assessment method to measure the accessibility of health-related web applications. The method can serve as a reference to apply to any website.
