Abstract

Today video games have come to be applied in several areas, and can be very useful for education and significantly improve mathematical reasoning in children. For the present study, a systematic review was carried out with the Torres- Carrión method, and five research questions were asked, which included topics such as software standards, education, design guides, and evaluation methods. In addition, a search script was structured and 225 jobs were found as a result, however 115 are related. It is concluded that the success of learning mathematics through video games is obtained when pedagogical methods and computer technologies are established coherently.
