Abstract
The life project is a valuable tool that has been used at different levels of student education so that students can develop in multiple dimensions, while motivating them to establish long-term goals and preparing them to solve the different problems they may face, achieving fulfillment as professionals in their field of action. In this sense, the objective of this research is to determine if there is a difference in the appreciation of the values that can influence the possession of a life project, among students who consider that having a role model is relevant as a clear guide in the development of my life project and those students who do not consider the development of a life project relevant. For this purpose, the students who were studying the basic Anthropology subject at the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL), in the April 2023 – August 2023 cycle, in the face-to-face modality, have been selected as the population. As a methodology, descriptive statistics are used to describe the variables and then the non-parametric Kruskal-Walli methodology is applied. The results show that there are differences in the established groups in terms of the variables: sex, knowledge of having a life project, strengthening of weaknesses, identification of interests, reflection on the impact that their actions will have, spiritual dimension and importance they give to the life project.
