Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This research aims to provide a concrete and easily accessible solution to people who face challenges in their communication due to hearing limitations. The digital dictionary’s primary mission is to collect and present in a clear and precise way various terms and specific expressions of the Ecuadorian language. These terms will be adapted to the sign language used by the deaf community. To ensure the excellence and relevance of this tool, close collaboration is carried out with professionals and sign language experts. Our central focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and adaptability of the terms incorporated in the dictionary. In this way, we facilitate inclusive and highly effective communication for people with hearing disabilities in Ecuador.
