N2 - People who work in the health area have a double task both medical and existential care. Starting from three distinct but related disciplines, philosophy can provide valuable guidance in existential care. This article introduces phenomenology, hermeneutics, and ethics in relation to the work of the health care provider. The objective is to propose to professionals an outline of a philosophical dimension of their work, and with some specific indications for an existential dimension in his work linked to care.
