Abstract

Traditional education is being transformed, part of this change is due to the incorporation of information technologies in the educational process. This paper presents a course management agent, which is part of a multi-agent system for intelligent classrooms. The agent adapts the contents of each course to the profile of each student, using their progress and their learning style. In addition, the agent, for each topic, recommends the learning objects most appropriate to each student. The agent is designed for face-to-face environments, where each course has a specific time and schedule. As a result, a list of learning objects recommended to each student was obtained according to the topic that the agent indicates based on the follow-up and the student’s profile.
