Abstract
In this work we present a new definition of local derivative, with good properties, which is a natural generalization of the classical derivative. The main novelty is that this derivative allows us to expand the class of continuous functions and differentiable functions, one of the most requested issues in the definition of new differential operators. The above is an innovation with respect to other well-known local operators.
