Docente principal de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, docente invitada de prestigiosas universidades del país (FLACSO, UASB, EPN) a nivel de grado y posgrado. Capacitadora y gestora de conocimientos a nivel nacional e internacional. Especialista en el diseño e implementación de políticas públicas y proyectos de cooperación internacional en las áreas de desarrollo ambiental, social y económico a nivel de Ecuador y Sudamérica. Autora y editora de varias publicaciones.
Su línea de investigación es la Economía ambiental, Política ambiental, Valoración económica de los Recursos Naturales, Economía de la Biodiversidad, Economía Circular, Economía del cambio climático.
