I am an Industrial Design Engineer and hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Design from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Since 2015, I have served as a faculty member teaching courses in Strategic Design, Design Process and Project Management, and Creative and Agile Methodologies. I am also a mentor in prototyping and value creation at PUCEmprende Startup Incubator. Since 2017, I have collaborated with the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries of Ecuador in the design of products and services for more than 90 companies, integrating engagement and teaching functions. I serve as a representative in the AUSJAL Design Network. I am the author and co-author of book chapters, a scholarly book, indexed journal articles, and national and international conference papers. I hold three registered industrial designs, with one additional registration currently in process. I am a member of the Future Lab (LF) and the Applied Information Systems and Technologies Research Group (SITECIA) at PUCE. I am also an Associate Researcher in the Design Management Research Group at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá. I currently lead the applied research project: “Design Strategies for Industry: Projections toward a Regenerative and Connected Economy.” My research areas include Strategic, Product, and Technology Development; Open Innovation and Design-Driven Systems; and Sustainable and Regenerative Economies. My research interests encompass Design for the Future, Service Design and Customer Experience (CX), Innovative Value Chain Initiatives, and Entrepreneurship and Market Research.
