The Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Esmeraldas campus, has a 42-year institutional history and maintains its vision: "We are a humanistic university community for personal and social transformation, serving a fraternal, just, and sustainable world. We identify ourselves as an inclusive, efficient project in dialogue with our surroundings and in constant academic and organizational innovation. Currently, it has four campuses: the central campus in Esmeraldas, Tachina Campus, Quinindé Campus, and San Lorenzo Campus. It offers 15 undergraduate programs, 19 postgraduate programs, and 6 technologies.
