Organization profile

"The Prevention of Sexual Abuse in Children and Youth" is conceived as a project that builds upon the results of a first stage of research at PUCE regarding the prevention of sexual abuse in children and youth in Ecuador. The project is planned to span two years, aiming to analyze the impact of various mediation spaces in the educational process of the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Child and Adolescent Sexual Abuse Prevention. This analysis will occur in two stages: The first stage involves researching the mediation spaces in the virtual and in-person dynamics of online educational processes. The second stage involves a literature review and content analysis on the role and function of the Media and Child Sexual Abuse in Ecuador. This comprehensive approach seeks to deepen understanding and potentially contribute to more effective strategies for preventing sexual abuse in children and adolescents.
