The research group monitors relations and the impacts of China-Ecuador relations from a multidisciplinary perspective that includes the analysis of the relationships of investments, debt and cooperation between China and Ecuador, the implications of these agreements on national regulations, and, Finally, the socio-environmental impacts generated by these investments in the territories where they are territorialize. The aim of the observatory is to become an information and documentation centre on relations and the impacts of the relationship between China, Ecuador and China. Latin America as a whole
