Organization profile

The Education Observatory is a space designed to promote research and disseminate its findings through different tools. Its purpose is to contribute to informed decision-making, the generation of public policies, the contribution to debate and the construction of an active citizenship in the field of education. From this space, education is seen as a complex, multidimensional and interdisciplinary phenomenon, whose exploration, understanding and analysis is carried out from different perspectives. Education transcends knowledge in the classroom and includes cognitive, emotional and sociocultural processes, and its understanding allows us to evidence the dynamism and multiple nature of the social fabric.

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
