This research group is made up of research professors from PUCE, Ruhr University of Bochum, University of Østfold, Casa Grande University, Central University of Ecuador, National Polytechnic School, and a master's degree student from the UASB. We consider it important to disseminate our research proposals, share them with the academic community and put them under consideration by society in general. – We assume the theme of memory as an essential element that makes up our humanity, we emphasize in "the affective turn", the new epistemological proposals to address cultural phenomena from the perspective of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, in accordance with the mission and vision of PUCE, in accordance with a coherent educational proposal and the consequent appreciation of research in the field of humanities. The objectives are as follows: · To advocate interthought, interaction and interdisciplinarity to establish the importance of memory in the knowledge, review, understanding and analysis of social phenomena that have marked milestones in the vision of the world in the fields of Latin American culture in general, and Ecuadorian culture in particular, through the interconnections between the research areas of our members. · To preserve, revalue and disseminate the collective social memory in its various cultural manifestations in Latin America, from the seventeenth century to the twenty-first century. · Disseminate research projects and their relationship with the importance of social historical memory, which considers the search for transcendence and ethical coherence in cultural manifestations.
