The research group will focus on exploring and anticipating the various challenges our planet will face in the future. We will use a prospective methodology based on research that allows for the collection of historical and contemporary data, as well as the identification of signs that suggest imminent changes in the coming years. In a second phase, we will work on capturing strategic opportunities, generating ideas, and developing innovative prototypes that will offer effective responses to the previously identified challenges, adopting emerging technologies and new digital tools. In the final phase, we will open spaces for interdisciplinary reflection on the proposals put forward and their impact on the well-being of the planet and society.
This initiative seeks to integrate knowledge from various academic and professional areas from different environments according to the specific needs of each topic addressed. This collaborative approach will not only promote the analysis of the current and future understanding of the planet, but also the collection of data that will facilitate the creation of more robust and adaptive solutions to various emerging challenges. By bringing together diverse perspectives, we aspire to build a framework that promotes innovation and sustainability in our proposals, scaling up to possible public policies of national and global interest.
General Objective
To generate innovative proposals that respond to the possible needs of the future, anticipating and addressing the environmental and social challenges of the planet.
Specific Objectives
To create spaces for experimentation that encourage strategic, critical, and creative thinking in students and teachers, capable of transcending the limitations of the present and addressing future challenges.
Strengthen interdisciplinary work, integrating diverse areas of knowledge to enrich the analysis and creation of effective solutions to identified problems.
Establish spaces for social reflection that promote dialogue around the relationship between humans and the planet, fostering greater awareness of sustainability and the impact of our actions on the future.
