Imaginaries and Transformation of Living Landscapes

Organization profile

Organization profile

This group is a space for transdisciplinary interaction that fosters critical debate and the exchange of knowledge based on the study of the imaginaries of inhabiting and their relationship with the 'nurturing of living landscapes', the appropriation and transformation of spaces and territories from an eco-systemic vision. As a space for reflection-action, it explores the necessary social transformation, understood as the reconciliation of the inhabitant with his environment, the adoption of conscious and shared forms of design and construction, social valuation of space, social innovation and transformation of project pedagogy as a means for meaningful learning of architecture and design, and other ways of understanding co-responsibility and democratization in the social production of space. As an academic space, it proposes the articulation of teaching, research, linkage with the environment and management through interdisciplinary experiences of service learning, pre-professional internships, community service, training for teaching innovation and dissemination through events and scientific publications and dissemination of knowledge, promoting a socio-environmentally responsible academic and professional practice.
