Organization profile

The objective of the Research Group in History of Law is to encourage the deepening and development of research activities and socialization of the History of Law, with special emphasis on the History of Law in Ecuador. In this sense, it proposes the development of activities, publications, working groups, academic events and graduate and postgraduate theses related to the emergence and development of legal ideas, state institutions related to the judicial world, legal regulations and institutions of law, and other elements of the legal world in the Andean region and mainly in Ecuador.
