The group's interest revolves around research on Service Learning methodology, an educational approach that aims to enhance the learning of theoretical content through its practical implementation in the community. Participants in these projects learn by facing real-life problems in their environment. In this regard, the research will be oriented towards: Analyzing the processes of engagement and Socially Responsible University (RSU) currently carried out by students at PUCE. Proposing the institutionalization of Service Learning in higher education. Generating civic engagement through Service Learning projects among higher education students. Analyzing the ethical competencies and values acquired by students and teachers participating in socially responsible projects or practices. Sharing experiences and projects of Service Learning in which teachers engage in their activities. Understanding the impact that students and teachers participating in socially responsible projects have on the community.
