The GEI-NuDAE aims to investigate the scientific aspects of nutrition and dietetics, encompassing the study of nutrients in all their forms. The objectives guiding the group’s research processes are: • To generate rigorous and relevant scientific knowledge in the areas of nutrition and dietetics, food, and nutritional education. • To promote interdisciplinary research that addresses complex issues related to nutrition and food in various contexts. • To develop and evaluate educational interventions and applied nutrition strategies to improve the health and dietary habits of different populations. • To strengthen the research framework through the consolidation of partnerships and collaborations with other academic institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and civil society at large. • To disseminate research findings through scientific publications, presentations at conferences, and other communication channels.
