The group is interested in constituting an interdisciplinary space for applied research with social and territorial impact, focused on spatial and urban dimensions, through the generation of cooperation and social innovation networks between academia, public institutions and civil society. The objectives are to strengthen the capacities of public institutions and other social actors, through continuous training programs; impact on the territory, through local intervention and social innovation projects, through agreements with public and private organizations; to produce knowledge, through interdisciplinary teams focused on the study of cities and territories; and the provision of technical consulting services, directly and in strategic alliance with other actors and organizations.
