Organization profile

The Directorate of Research (DINV) is the core of support and management for all research activities at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. It is responsible for coordinating and promoting projects in various fields of knowledge through a network of centers, laboratories, groups and research units that make up its structure. From the design of new proposals to the completion of advanced studies, DINV facilitates the necessary procedures, provides strategic guidance and fosters a collaborative environment for the development of high-impact research. Its main objective is to promote research excellence, innovation and the advancement of knowledge to contribute significantly to the academic, social and economic progress of the country.

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
